Learn to Kayak with a qualified Irish Canoe Union instructor
Levels One, Two and Three available.
Level One is a one day course which will introduce you to the sport of kayaking, giving the student an introduction to the kayak and paddling on the beautiful Blackwater.
Level Two Courses will be run on the Blackwater river and give the student a great opportunity to learn the basic kayak strokes. The Level Two builds on the knowledge gained on the Level One course and introduces new strokes such as draw strokes and low brace. Level Two courses can be arranged over 2 days or 3-4 evenings.
All training courses provide safety equipment and insurance, all instructors are Irish Canoe Union certified, and participants who complete the course will receive an Irish Canoe Union Certificate.
